Reviewer Comments:
Sci-fi/Fantasy/Romance at it's comic-booky best, The Clockwork Girl is simply beautiful. The art, the story, the very feel of the book is beautiful. A modern fairy tale, it blends Romeo and Juliet with Frankenstein, and a adds just a dash of Wizard of Oz. Not only is the art gorgeously rendered in animation style, but the light, fun story is tender and lovingly written. This is the story Tim Burton would come up with if he wasn't so.......Tim Burton-y!The kind of story adults will love, but that we can feel perfectly at ease sharing with our children. I plan on picking up two for my little girls. Christmas is closer than we think!

I admit, I've read too many of today's darker comics, I expected a much sadder ending to our tale. As it is, this book left me with a big ol' smile on my face. And considering that I'm sick as a dog right now, and bitter and jaded on my best day, that's saying something!

I can't recommend this enough. So don't make me! Go take a look for yourself!
